Össur Portal

Össur is a company based in Iceland that develops, manufactures and sells non-invasive equipment for orthopaedics, including bracing and support products, compression therapy, and prosthetics. The company is headquartered in Reykjavík, with offices in the Americas, Europe, and Asia, and distributors in other markets.

Össur Portal is a secure, cloud-based platform that simplifies the ordering and management of prosthetic and orthopedic products. It provides healthcare professionals with real-time order tracking, easy access to product information, patient management tools, and streamlined workflows to improve clinical efficiency and patient care.

As a UX/UI Designer on the Össur Portal project, I was responsible for building a scalable design system and component libraries based on design tokens. My role involved conducting design workshops, solving UX, usability, and product architecture challenges, and designing responsive experiences for various devices and resolutions. I also contributed to branding and custom illustrations, collaborating closely with stakeholders, business teams, product owners, UX specialists, developers, and the wider product team to deliver a consistent, user-centered digital experience.
